Leading the way for rural health issues

Since, the Center for Rural Health Development, Inc. (Center) has developed and implemented programs to help improve health and strengthen health care delivery in West Virginia. In 2003, the Center began providing coalition management and technical assistance as the lead agency for the West Virginia Immunization Network (WIN). • Strengthened rural health infrastructure needed to attract and retain businesses in rural communities.
  • Reduced costs associated with preventable diseases.
